I had a cognitive evaluation with a psychologist a couple years ago when I was being tested for a language learning disability and Adult ADD. I scored above average to very superior for age in every category except language and repetative psychomotor coordination, in which I was slightly below average and average respectively. Apparently, having slightly below average language abilities and avarege repetative psychomotor coordination alone isn't enough to qualify you as having a disability in those areas, but if there's a significant enough gap between them and the rest of your cognition, then you do quality.

Specifically, I scored around the 40th percentile for language and 49th for repetative psychomotor coordination, but I had a minimum of 70th percentile for everything else. Ironically, I scored around the 90th percentile for "abstract communications," which is categorized separately from spoken and written languages. Anyway, based on my total percentile ranking, he estimated my IQ to be around 145. However, I generally score between 120 and 140 on internet IQ tests.

And it's a normal distribution. Means that 95% are within 70-130. Only 2.5% of the general population will have IQs above 130, yet almost everyone on here does. That's enough to tell me that the whole deal is bullshit, because there's no way some of you guys are that smart.
