Yes! Another Spector player! Am I the only one who doesn't like the look of Fender basses?!

actually i like the look of fender basses (probably because i have been bombarded by famous musicians playing them all my life). But i prefer the Spector because its much more beautiful (mine is dark blue-green quilted maple top) and versatile than any fenders i've played (plus its easier to play imo).
Also the Spector is a lot cheaper :heh:

I've been playing guitar for 4 years, have always been working on vocals, and recently began teaching myself bass.

Pyre Guitars Valkyrie (a V that I built myself)
Jackson DXMG
La Patire Concert CW Classical
Marshall AVT150 Combo amp

I have a bunch of recording gear, a lot of it being plug-ins in my computer, etc... a couple of Shure SM57s, a mixer, etc.

yea, thats 2 and a half years of adding on and whatnot, and the drums themselves were an 18th b-day gift from my grandmother..i just got it in november

I play a Paul Reed Smith custom 24, dark cherry sunburst (an incredible beauty), and a Norman 12 strings acoustic guitar. My amp is an old Crate combo (can't wait to change it) and my guitar goes through a Line 6 Pod 2.0.

Basswise, I play a 5 string BTB Ibanez that has a deep purple finish, in a 200 watts Ganz Benz combo. I have bought a new bass and am awaiting it's delivery... A Fender Jazz Bass, the Marcus Miller 5 string Signature model, in aged maple finish. The same model Mendez plays (see Lamentations documentary) only a 5 string version of it.

Cheers !
