Haha, well it's not my studio per-se. It's the facility where we're learning, but nonetheless the pics from today's session are really cool. We pulled some massive sounds considering we only had 4 hours (it was pre-production, basically just finding tones we liked).

I'll put them up if my friend forwards them to me.

I'm really curious for your pics and your music!! Studio-time kinda rules :) I just finished my 4year study at the Utrecht University of Arts, where i studied Audio Design! Just got my diploma, i'm finally done :headbang:
We also had a studio there, even one with all kinds of really old analog synthesizers.. Once i was patching and making noise, they had to drag me out of there :loco:

Recently finished up our band's first album, this week it's going to the cd-press-company-thingamabob so i should have the finished product in about 2 weeks.. Can't wait! Working on it for a year now.. As soon as it's finished i'll put something up!

That looks fucking wonderful! Got any recordings?

I released 2 hardcore vinyls on Bionic Recordings, under the alias "Archetype"... Can't find any previews though :ill:
The tracks also appeared on some cd albums..
Next thing i'm going to release (with my band) is a complete album which i wrote for 80%.. The band is called NE1, and it's a bit of a crossover between rock and modern-day dance/beats and stuff! Some straight-on rock songs, a pinch of Prodigy, even a piano-ballad.. Really anxious to see the results!! :kickass:

LOL I think it is too! I thought it looked funny, then I saw you said that.

Otherwise, my liege of poultry, that is a rather nice set up. I prefer an 18 bass cause it's deeper. nice sabians, the one not in the pic my friend has, it's very nice. Nice color, too. I hate the new clear sonor :ill: I also prefer suspended big toms, but thats just personal preference.

oh man, yesturday i tried Sabian HHX Legacy (Dave Weckl's new line)..and i was blown away, the ozone ride is beautiful, dark, trashy,a little washy, but still had a very articulate ping to it..weckl is a good guy lol

Electric - Gibson Les Paul 1960 Classic Reissue

Acoustic - Ibanez Artwood

Classical - Alvarez (Yairi)

Bass (on backorder...) - Dean Edge 09

Charango - some random deal I bought off a street vendor in Otavalo, Ecuador

well hows that for chance! my band teacher was giving away toms, so know I have a 16" floor tom that clashes horribly with my set. still, a free tom!

Moonlapse: Nice!!! That ProTools control really rocks... Worked with it on our school, worked like a charm! The guy in the studio where we recorded used only his mouse (mac-mouse even, the annoying i'll-throw-you-out-of-the-window my-whole-body-is-a-mouse-button-mouse), instant RSI... Had RSI-trouble enough, so one of the first things i bought for my own studio was a control surface!

Got any recordings online? I'm curious! And eeeuhm, what mics are those? Overheads look like Neumanns...
