I have met you and it hasnt swayed that opinion one bit
jokes, your pretty cool.......... for a drummer

Out of my mind maybe, but I like to think I am pretty reliable for a drummer.
Our singer on the other hand, is absolutely useless, I have to call him every morning that we jam and wake him up, then call him again to make sure he got up, then call him again to make sure he is going to leave on time, then again to find out where the fuck he is when he doesn't turn up.
And our bassist is pussywhipped.

Lucky I am in 2 bands, the other one is awesome, had 2 practices and already we have 4 songs, a gig, and a chance at getting an album produced :)

he wrote another email later apologizing for acting like a dick. he still plans on leaving, but he's at least cruising over for some beers tonight.

dude i told this story at last band practice and me and the vocalist agreed that touring Australia is a high priority. :loco:

awesome, i'd rather go there anyhow. :Spin:

a good friend of mine is marrying an Aussie, she's a cool lady. i don't think she takes it up the shitter though, he complains about never even getting any skull from her.

hey they're centered in California too! well, stephen o'malley is anyhow.

i'd love to have seen that show. :kickass:

I thought they were in new york
o'malley is from there
where are plotkin and dubin from?

was a pretty strange show
a lot of folk claiming scald as band of the night
but we didn't actually play well just very aggressively :tickled:

khanate were weird
I was bored at some points and at others totally spaced and tripping
and I was sober, you would have enjoyed it

I took photos ... but only of thier gear haha
I 'll post one soon.....serious bass rig man!
best thing was getting a private show of pieces of quiet as a soundcheck while we sat and ate chips (fuckdom fries) with curry sauce

if only i would have known, I would have made you force steve o'malley to tell you when he'll put the Earth Hex picLP for sale

*tired of checking the SL site everyday*

Aussie birds abroad are like bikes. I have no idea why. If you want to shag an Aussie bird, don't go to Sydney, go to London.

he's right ... hung out with a New Zealender once or twice ... sleazy older chick like Samantha from Sex and the City

Are you lumping Aussies and New Zealanders together?
trust me there is the world of difference mainly being New Zealanders suck ass and have the funniest accents on earth, those who have heard it will know what I mean.

i'd love to see those! maybe they are NYC based, i dunno. all i know is that Sunn O))) plays a fuckton of shows in LA and that's where Southern Lord is as well, so i just assumed O'malley lived there.

d'oh yeah, drummer hung out with us all night but we didn't really discuss anything hahaha. he said he's just temporarily in the band right now but hung out with us all night, so i guess we need to keep feelers out for a new dude. i dunno.

One of my coworkers is a drummer. He's pretty cool (huge Kyuss and Unida fan), though it's annoying that he always yells into the phone... He's half-deaf.

They don't. :yell::Shedevil:

Coolest, friendliest people I've met. Spent the best time of my life down in New Zealand, had a Kiwi host dad and an Aussie host mum. Kiwis and Aussies, I love them all. :Spin: Met an Australian guy at a party here a while ago, and he was wondering about my accent because it sounded familiar to him. Must be the enduring influence of my host mum's Aussie English.

at least we have a backup drummer though (dude from our "brother" band), and are sort of an established act so finding a permanent replacement shouldn't be too difficult, but still, what the fuck.
If you have a problem finding a drummer, let me know. Granted, I don't know how to play drums and we live thousands of miles apart, but I'm there for you. Just point me towards the snare and I'll figure the rest out.o_O
