When did Maiden last tour here?

Fear Of The Dark tour in 1992. But it was only 2 shows, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

World Slavery Tour in '85 was the last FULL tour.

What I don't understand is, how Maiden toured here in '82 before they were even very big. Yet they didn't come in the late '80s when they were huge and haven't been in the last 10 years either. *Shrugs*

I know *someone* was trying to get 'em out here a few years ago but Maiden wanted a huge amount of money to bring the full production over & the promoter wasn't confident that enough people would turn up to cover costs...

Metal as we know it just doesn't pull the heads like it did in the 80's, unfortunately.... not in *this* country anyway!

Yeah, thats what I thought as well.

Don't they get that we just want them to play here. Sure, I would love the full show, but the boys on the stage with an Eddie backdrop would make everyone happy I'm sure...
