When will the first bands be announced?

One new band confirmed, WHITE WALLS from Romania! Did anyone hear about this band before? Time to get to know this band, one of the biggest surprises we received in the mailbox! Check them out, it probably takes a little time to get into their music, but we are damn proud to present this little surprise from Romania.

One more band will be announced asap, we are waiting for a positive message of their management.

the line-up for this year alread looks as exquisite and as eclectic as every year with a nice balance of surprises, comebacks and often demanded bands! really looking forward to seeing you all again in october to celebrate our love for prog music and our unique community now known as 'the PPE family' yet again! keep up the good work and enjoy the beautiful warm spring sun! cheers...

We hope to confirm the next band this Easter weekend! The last couple of bands will be announced in May, as we also start the full promotion campaign. This week we will have a final meeting to make a decission about the bands we will invite.

We'll see, but with the line-up so far and the next to be announced surprise it will already be more than worth the trip to baarlo

The last addition to this year's line-up will be MEMENTO WALTZ from Italy. This band is influenced by such bands as Cynic, Watchtower, Spiral Architect, so you know in what direction you have to think. Definitely another excellent newcomer in the scene and we are really happy to have them on stage in Baarlo this year.

Info about the band will be added to the website soon, the last 4 bands will be announced early may.

Yesterday we had our last meeting to make decission for the line-up. Right now we negotiate details with the remaining 4 bands. if we succeed to book them all 4, we are more than satisfied with this year's line-up. Diverse, special, different, but all in all high quality.

So stay tuned, we expect to announce the final line-up within 2 weeks from now.

Well, I guess staff do already know who they want to get on the bill. Must be more of bands still hesitating:
King's X have been asked again to join, but are still trying to sort their personal schedules to make it happen this time.
Rush are still in negotiation with the local government in order to keep the expected traffic jam under control.
