where do you guys buy gear in the UK? plus gear advice needed

Well i prefer to see a better advertised price rather than have to go through all the bs of price matching, and many other places usually advertise lower than you.
And being a trade place gives you unwritten licence to charge more whether you want to admit it or not, because organisations need one place to buy everything to make it simpler on their accounts as they dont have time/resources to shop around for every separate item and they can get a business account with you guys and get it all done in one place.
Dont feel bad about it im not trying to slam you its just the way it appears to me whether you like it or not, i know how it works, HHB, Canford Audio and a few other are the same.
Ive dealt with you all from a corporate and personal point of view over the last 12 years.

Gotta agree that it would be nice to see the best price on the site rather than having to email or call for a price match.

Clearly you guys have some serious buying power, but even just for example a quick Google search shows that KMR Audio and Millenium Music are undercutting you guys on SM57's by £10 or more (off topic, SM57's have jumped up in price a fair bit! used to get them for £75 or less not too long ago!)
I realise that you have a pretty extensive stock though, so it would be a bit of a pain to try and constantly monitor the going rate for everything you sell.

I've got no beef with you guys though. As I said earlier you have always given me customer service that is absolutely second to none. Just try pull the pricing down a touch.

the high quoted price does put me off buying some times when i can just order it simple and easy elsewhere without any price matching.
Still, if I had a really crucial order to make then Studiospares would get my money.

Just as an aside. On a Budget nothing can touch studio spares mic stands, even those that are twice the price aren't even half way as good!!
