Nice photos. I bet the American soldiers loved having the band come out there. How did the show or shows go? Any resistance from the locals about a female metal band playing in their country?

The shows went really well - the response was heartwarming. We played in an outdoor venue on the base so no local reaction - except the sound man and the coordinator who loved it! Though that would've been interesting... I think!??!

We had an eerie moment during ( what else?) Number of the Beast. While we were playing lightning started flashing in the sky, the wind started blowing really hard and a torrent of rain began to pour down!
And it only rains maybe twice year there.

In addition to playing for our boys in the Navy, we also got to play for the Royal Navy since two of their ships were temporarily docked there. For The Trooper, we had both the Union Jack and Old Glory on hand and we brought them both out during the song....things couldn't have worked out better.

Ahhh the good ol Royal Navy. Should have had the "white ensign" instead of the union flag.

Thats the Navy flag that flies of the stern of every Royal Navy ship.

i got a call from british airways at london heathrow the other night telling me they'd found it!! yay!! after a day of tracking down phone numbers, i got hold of this nice guy named craig in baggage who helped me out and they're sending it back not sure why it was with british airways cuz we flew klm, but the tags were off so good thing i always include my addy and phone number inside the case huh! i am very excited to see it again
