You can use 8lb/ft Mineral Wool as well, a brandname is Rockwool.
John Mansfield (sp) sells an OC703 equivalent. If you ask a place for Owens Corning 703, they will often know the JM equivalent or other brand equivalents.
Typically if they carry Mineral Wool or Rigid Fiberglass they will have it all. Maybe only one brand or so, but they all pretty much have equivalents with identical specs. Sort of like buying mailing labels or something. Everyone sells Avrey equivalents.
I have had zero luck with Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards. I had to go with an Insulation Supplier that mainly deals with commercial contractors. They were totally cool, just a different shopping experience. You talk to the rep and a guy brings it out to a loading bay.
Phonebook is where I found one close to me, but there were only 2 places in the Twin Cities. If you have to drive, just buy a bunch to make it worth it. You can almost never have too much and you can make gobos and bass traps out of them too.
