Which Finntroll CD is better?

I only have Finntroll's second CD Jakten's Tid and while it's good, it doesn't blow me away enough to drop $12 to get their debut Midnattens Widunder. So my question is which album do you like better? I've heard that the debut has more of a wild sound and more of that polka style then the new album, is that true?

I like the first one better, but I haven't listened that much of Jakten's Tid. I guess the humppa is more obvious in the first one. And Bastuvisan is lot better than Kyrkovisan.

I prefer "Jaktens Tid" ...more varied than "Midnattens widunder"....but at least both are very good albums!

Jaktens Tid are indeed more variating and the best, but Midnattens Widunder has some really cool tracks.. One of Finntrolls best must be "Rivfader"...

Somehow thats more agressive and raw than Jaktens Tid. dont you think so?

I completely LOVE Jakten's Tid and refuse to take it out of my cd player. You want to talk about a bunch of drunk dudes getting together and playing accordian/thrash/death/black/folk metal, then get this cd! It is has much more of a variety of sounds and whatnot, whereas MW is very raw and heavy (which is also good). If you want a good time and laugh your ass off while listening to metal, get Jakten's Tid. \m/ Hope that helps.
