Race of Cain was the first thing they had done in about a decade or so. Aside from people who were into Black Metal since the mid-90's, or new comers who sought out old/rare gems, this band flew under the radar for many.

We have a clear winner it seems. For those disappointed by Forgotten Wöödz because of Race of Cain, just not let it turn you off and do check their earlier stuff. Totally awesome black metal done the oooolde way with a kewl twist of weirdness. The more laid-back/shoegaze-ish stuff they recorded as Joyless easily poops on Alcest's full-length.
