To be sure, I think Sin/Pecado is simply a horrible album, and Irreligious is not much better. It resonated with audiences at the time due to novelty, the moment i history when it was released, etc., but if you think of it, it's really pretty monotonous and unimaignative. Wolfheart was fresh and adventurous, but then they streamlined their songwriting, and as a result it took them a while to start releasing interesting albums again.
