Which Schecter guitar would you buy if you could get a really good deal on one? I'm thinking something that can handle low tunings, and sound organic.

I always forget to mention I'm left handed :)

I'll see if the Loomis comes in a lefty.

edit: Nope. No lefty. Don't like the fret inlays anyway! :P

c1 hellraiser or c7 hellraiser if you're into 7 string

THIS.

LOVE my HRC7, my friend has three C1s as well, two are HR series. Schecters have a good scale length that can handle lower tunings. The C7 I have can handle down to G really well. The inlays really don't bother me at all, I don't love them or anything but I don't notice them either in person. I notice them a lot more in pictures than I do looking at the guitar in the room. Love Schecters. <3<3<3<3<3

And I'm not saying that trying to sell mine, I know you are a lefty

I own a C7 Hellraiser and a Loomis sig, and they're both fantastic guitars. Aside from the fact they're dirt cheap in comparison to other makes, they're solid, reliable, sound great, and feel like a BEAST when you play them. Sometimes Ibanez can feel like a toy in comparison.

I own other guitars that are more expensive and were made in Japan and America, and although I feel they are better guitars, I love my Schecters more.

I just picked up a c7 for 150.00 bucks (well it was 250.00 but the band owed me 100.00 so i paid 150.00) and the thing sounds amazing with the stock Duncan's in it. I'm thinking of putting a jb7 in the bridge but every Schecter seems to set up well and there just great guitars. I really don't think Ive come across a bad Schecter yet in the studio......

Oh and i wish the Emg 707 actually fit in the stock pickup cavity. :Smug:

I bought my Loomis used with Blackouts in it and I got some EMG 707s in there yesterday (finally) and it has never sounded better! So happy right now!

I have a Loomis 7 and like it a lot.
IMO this is the best 7string guitar out there. (I have a few custom guitars too but the Loomis is my favorite).

I like the Hellraiser, but in black with the pearl binding. Don't like the abalone on the other finishes, personally.

They're all solid guitars, IMO. On par with the nicer LTD's as far as quality.

I was lucky enough to get the C7 Blackjack before they started putting this fugly abalone/pearl binding in every single model. As far as quality goes you can't go wrong though.

deffo agree on the quality! i was gnna get an LTD Duluxe MH guitar, but went for the hellraiser, it packed alot more in for its price, and was ultimately a good choice!!

Schecter Hellraisers are great quality for the money. Sadly I get a lot of fret problems with mine so ill be moving to ESP if I make another guitar purchase.
