they get a little redundant after a while but on the whole, quality band

Roy has a great voice but I've always wished that he would do at least SOME vocal parts that have some balls

the black halo was really good .. had a harder time getting into ghost opera.
Now im not really into (prog) power metal anymore, but I might actual listen to the black halo soon again.

Saw them a while ago, one of the best concerts I visitied this year! My girl likes them a lot, and I start appreciating them more and more. Roy Khan is a really charismatic front man.

Great band. Their last album was a masterpiece imo, especially vocal arrangements and songwriting were flawless. I think next album is due sometime in Fall.

Me me me! The Black Halo has become one of my all time favorite albums. I'm never really a fan of the guitar sounds on any of the albums, but the songs and Roy's voice more than makes up for it.

Not a big fan of the band, but their last album was really good and the real orchestra was awesome and very good integrated musically.
Also the singer is amazing, one of my favorites.

The Black Halo = one of the best metal albums, period. I'm hoping the new one is less orchestral than Ghost Opera though. Also worried Roy is losing his voice... The band has always had awesome songwriting though.

Kamelot is one of my favorite bands of all time.

One of the top metal bands of this era. I don't work with many bands for site work any more, but Kamelot I choose to as they're top notch (re-designing the new site right now!).

i really want to record a project like this, so i could shine even more. when i finally got pretty decent results with my work, this is the type of stuff i intended to work with...

That would be a cool thing Joey - quite different from what we know you for and quite honestly I'd love to hear your take on this type of metal. I love most everything Kamelot has done, like others, Black Halo was a highlight for me and also a great show to see on that tour. You need to get busy and go out and recruit a power metal project
