I was so totally there..fucking awesome setlist. I was so glad I brought earplugs though. It sounded pretty good with them in.

I wasn't at that show, because it was a school night, but I was at the Cryptopsy/Suffocation/Aborted/Despised Icon show the following night.

Great show, didn't get there until 8:15, perfect timing. Granted I hadn't been to a show at Harpo's in almost a year, but I couldn't believe a couple things I saw. Actual security guys in the parking lot? A metal detector? Getting out of there at 11:30? What have they done to my Harpo's?
How long ago did they rip the carpet up off the main floor? Made for many a tumble in the pit

I've listened to Weeping Song and Red Right Hand so far. The vocalist sure stands out! I like it, he has a sort of lone ranger sound to him so far. Recommend me some more of his stuff Led.
On Woods of Ypres, they just released their new album "against the seasons" which I ordered a second ago. But the only material i've heard is off their first album "pursuit of the sun/allure of the earth" which blew me away. So I recommend pursuit of the sun only because I'm certain of its greatness!
