As for originality... if you some other bands that sound like Emperor do on Prometheus, I'd be very surprised, but more than that I'd like to hear them.

And while Arcturus are quite awesome I've never been able to get into the other bands you mention, for one reason or another. Feel free to recommend some songs for me.

I just downloaded Black New Age and I have to say I like Ihsahn's singing (IX Equilibrium, Emperial Live Ceremony, Prometheus) about 100x better than this guy's. :zombie:

Other than that, it's a pretty cool song.

Odd to see this because both bands are really on completely different levels. I don't see why this comment was even relevant to the thread context. But, yes Windir is fucking great. But only like Emperor in that they are symphonic, and have black metal influence.

I've expressed my upmost respect for Emperor here before, and I'm lazy. But I must say that Emperor is beyond what words can describe.
