Who's going to watch the debate tonight?

One more thing... what is Obama's opinion on world war 2? 6 years and 416,800 deaths in 6-7 years in just american terms. Nearly 2 times the death rate of allied soldiers than axis soldiers? And he keeps on insisting on bring up the "past failures" of Iraq? 4000 deaths seems pretty reasonable in terms of counter-insurgency compared to WW2. But I suppose we definitely needed to do that... And those years? Under Biden's favorite, FDR.

If Obama is going to talk the past, he might as well discuss it in terms of other past events.

Making a cameo on this cesspool of a forum to support my boy EricT.

Anybody who said Palin is clueless when it comes to supporting Israel & Georgia blindly, needs to watch Obama flat out say that Pakistan is going to be taken to task for supporting as he calls them "The TallyBon". Then we have Obama's laundry list of expenditures which included rural broadband, trickling a large portion of the potential bailout to shit for brain fucktards who are over their heads in mortgages, revamping the entire infrastructure of the nation, boosting education, a ridiculous space race with the Chinks, and federalized healthcare. Fucking ludicrous. What would be the tax implications if even one of these points of his agenda comes to fruition?!?! I certainly don't make six figures a year, so perhaps I may have to get used to eating Cherrios for breakfast every fucking day for the rest of my life. Obanana taxing businesses will eventually drive them to foreign shores. Talk about being out of touch on every fucking issue on the table. I loved it when McCain said he would take his pen and veto every bullshit expenditure that landed on his table, then Obama cuts him off and says, "I think there's some current programs that need our tax dollars." Oy Vey!!! Where is this money going to come from?!?! Is he hanging tail long from a money tree?!?!

Exchange of the night...

Obama, "If I'm in power we will go in to Pakistan and take Ali Baba Mosheed Ayayay Kumir out."
McCain, "You can't just state these things out loud."

Disgusting ape!

Wow, someone is a dolt. I have to go soon so I won't adumbrate too much here. Clearly you have no education above the 5th grade level. I'm not trying to be facetious, but it's readily apparent, particularly by your use of pejorative and racial invective. It's easy to discern between the people who actually know something about politics and those who don't, especially on the internet. I guess it would be too much to ask on this board (specifically) for something equivalent to even a basic college level economics, politics, or, judging by your fondness for vituperative parlance, english and sociology course while discussing something as important as this election. Please go back to your shanty now, and I would recommend some serious mental exercises on your part tonight to get to the root of all that undirected anger that's been festering and boiling inside that vestigial brain you've possessed all your life.

So is that all Obama supporters have? "you know nothing about politics"? For fucks sake... I've been told that 4 times today myself in various forms (twice on the phone twice on the internet). How about supporting you candidate with actual fucking facts.

I should clarify, this is not directed at Reuben. I respect his opinion as he seems to be the only person on this forum that I have seen that knows what he is talking about and I like to read his opinions on this subject, as it does represent a pretty factual area of the Obama side.

What is IRC? Much like the esteemed Sen. McCain, I don't speak internet!!!

I'm out of here my Hasidic friend, need to go make some money for Obama's highway to nowhere.

Joe Biden got like what, 3-4 minutes after the debate to talk, and that faggot Guliani got like 6-7 mins? Palin wouldn't even come on, I bet she is still healing from the ownage Katie Couric gave her. YOU KNOW THEY ARE KEEPING HER FROM THE MEDIA BECAUSE SHE IS MEANT TO LOOK GOOD AND ATTRACT THE FEMALE VOTE SHE IS REALLY JUST A BIG FUCKING N00B..... "I am experienced in foreign policy because my state is next to Russia and Canada LOLOLOL"

What the fuck are you talking about Palin got owned by Couric? Couric wouldn't know her head from her ass on that super liberal network of NBC. She said nothing but bullshit rumor and personal opinion and did not own Palin. Palin will prove her self in the VP debate next week with her smooth talking and her great ass.

END OF DISCUSSION.

OK, I watched it beginning to end. If you closed your eyes and lost track of the years, you could almost hear Ronald Regan debating with Obama. The sound of McCain's voice was completely eerie like that.

I have to agree that there was no clear "winner". Each candidate got the opportunity to say all the things that he and his supporters considers to be inalienable truths, and therefore whomever you support was the "clear winner". For my part, I learned a little. Obama does seem a little more impassioned than McCain, who seemed a little more controlled. For all that, though, I'm surprised that McCain didn't just give up and actually use the phrase, "Why, when I was your age" or possibly "Listen up you young whipper snapper!". He came just short of it I think 7 different times. Ultimately, though, I don't think anyone watching came away with any information that wasn't relatively available prior to the debate, which is a little sad.

How about we stop with the politics, and love something purely Canadian. (Which is where I'm sure a lot of you will end up one day.)

Wow, you are one brainwashed son of a bitch. lol@propaganda doing it's job. And yes, I know that to you, any network that isn't fox news is 'super liberal' and an unreliable source (Billo is the only guy people like you can trust after all). I think Couric's interview was pretty docile but at the same time she still got Palin on the rope, pretty sad that an interview that barely dug deep got that bitch speechless and dancing around questions.

P.S. Palin is not attractive at all to me. Look at her face for fuck's sakes, on some angles she looks good, but overall, NO. If you ever meet that stupid cunt, please tell her the vagina is not a clown car.

The downright ignorance and stupidity in this thread is making me laugh... On the outside, I'm crying on the inside.

Seriously, first of all stop butchering the word "Socialist". Second, "OOOH NOO HIGHER TAXES :O" Well I'm sorry but that's what it takes to improve the quality of life in a country, wake the fuck up and pull your head out your sisters ass you fucking rednecks, have a look at Sweden and Norway for example, their taxes are huge, but that tax money is the reason they have such a good quality of life over there. And complaining about taxes when you're going to vote for a man who will squander your countries money on rediculous war efforts is just plain fuckin' retarded.

Thank you. :)

The general consensus among non-partisan commentators is the same - no clear winner.

Sadly it seems that paranoia and partisan politics have overwritten pretty much anything that happened last night. Hell in a hand basket - have fun guys! :loco:

problem is that RiA didn't really give any other opinion with his comment more then "I'm going against Obard for the sake of going against him", and he doesn't like negroes.

uh, the hell are you talking about? So if Palin couldn't even give a good reply to Couric, it can be disregarded just because NBC is liberal? Them being liberal doesn't change the fact that she couldn't answer.

Although yes, remains to be seen in the VP discussion.

LOL! Well, I'm actually extremely partisan, it just so happens that I'm also extremely disillusioned. I believe that handbasket is turbo-powered.
