Or, maybe it's just easier to control an inept bumbling idiot from the sidelines and let him take the heat. Really, regardless of whether or not he's bright, he's a horrific public speaker and listening to him makes me foam at the mouth (and pontificate, apparently). It doesn't do much for America's image, either, and I'd be stunned if it's improved our foreign relations.

For some reason, I don't think there will be as much confusion as to who will win or lose. It almost feels more important than the presidential debate the other day...

I think Palin may get some pity votes out of this one. The whole world seems to be telling Biden to go easy on her.

She spent 2 hours with Charlie Gibson, none of which was aired because she answered too well. She spent 2 hours with Katie Couric, and only about 15 minutes of that was aired. The media WANTS her to fuck up on just a few questions just so they can get ratings with the "haha look at this bitch" card.

She went to debate boot camp, recently, remember. She's well prepared and actually knows what she's supposed to say, since the focus of the debate was pre-planned. It's weird. All they're really doing is quoting voting records back and forth with a skewed perspective, and reciting what sound like pre-planned speechlets, strung together prettily and on the fly. They're not as patently off-topic as the Presidential debates with the answers, though, but they're clearly avoiding some of the questions, her more than him, IMO.
