I always liked them, I really liked white noise when it came out. I kind of didn't listen for a few years and then got really into them 2 and a half years ago. At the time I was morbidly obese and was spending a gross amount of time at the gym and the Anthrax cd's were the sound track to getting my asss into shape for the firs time in my life.

Why? The music! I got into Anthrax back when Killer B's came out. Loved the tunes and the goofy sense of humour. Saw 'em when they toured with PE. Been a huge fan ever since! 
I wouldn't say I am 'obsessed' but I was a huge fan during the State or Euphoria days, then Persistence of Time came out and I thought it was one of the best CD's ever made. I lost some interest, actually lost a lot of interest when Sound of White Noise came out, now Joey is back I am looking forward to hopefully some good Anthrax THRASH that I miss. It's not that I think Joey is so much better it is just the style of music Anthrax played when he was on vocals is what I miss

To tell you the truth I became a huge Anthrax fan after I heard SOWN. I mean I'm a Belladonna fan, but it was still a good album. I didn't pay much attention to S442 or Vol. 8 untill now. WCFYA is my favorite Bush album and when I heard that, I thought Anthrax was the best band around and then started checking out more Thrax albums.

Because State of Euphoria blew me away when it came out. They got into my head when I was young and impressionable, and I haven't been able to get them out since.

I got into them because they were the FIRST metal band I ever heard. IN a small town of 300 or so (mostly stray dogs and cats) my best friend at the time turned me on to Spreading the Disease. Then I got Among the Living. I wsa hooked. I saw the vid Oidivnicufesin (around '88 or so) and was further brought into the "one world" of metal. I was 7 when I first heard them, and I have been hooked since, a steady fan never giving up and waiting for the next release. Same with Slayer, I heard them with SITO, and was hooked. Megadeth too about the same time. Oddly enough, I got into Metallica (ALOT) about the time Justice came out. What is really funny about that, is I thought they were a shitty garage band from Hays (KS) at that time! There was a radio contest to win tickets to see them in Wichita, and you had to name a song off of Garage Days Re-revisited after it was played. I mis-understood what they said, and thought they said they were a garage band. I was anti-'tallica until I actually listened to their music. Justice blew me away. After that, I was on a search for the heaviest music I could. Obsessed with Anthrax? Kinda. Obsessed with metal? YOU BETCHA!!!
