Why did no one tell me about Disillusion before?

Just heard the album "Back to Times of Splendor" and it's kicking me right up the ringpiece.

There's a lot going on in the songs, but it still manages to sound fairly straightforward. Effortlessly complicated, I suppose.

Very good production, good singer. Just a very classy metal band really, and well worth a listen if you haven't done so already.

back when this one came out I remember just getting so sick of the nonstop barrage of reviews and praise that I just had to go out and get it.. and yeah its excellent

Not really , think of Edge of Sanity and Opeth though . Melodic progressive Death-Metal at its best . I like it
