It's extreme metal, but it goes so much further than bands like Carcass, Morbid Angel, etc. Not to say those bands suck (i love carcass), but there's more elements to CoB, of course the guitar work, but otehr things are that the bass doesn't always just duplicate the guitar parts, there are times where it has it's own thing going, and the drumming isn't constant double bass with snare and hihat on 16th's. It's more technical, and I need complexity somewhere in my music.
