Ehy.. on all the last 20 threads, none of them was about metal or music itself... guys... let's speak more about new releases, new bands, don't you think?? Maybe i was been unlucky now, because i haven't read the forum for some weeks... i dont know..
Bye :D

We post in waves here.

Days of Opeth talk, then days of posts about other bands (although some think those belong in other UM discussion boards), then days of ranting and raving, then days of general music deiscussion.

This is the UM melting pot.

6DOIT is out in Europe already and it is a real goodie! I got it Monday and I've been blasting it on my stereo since...can't get enough of it. And also there's over 90 minutes worth of music on it :) So there's a lot to listen to...

Other than that my cd-player is currently infested with the new Tiamat (Judas Christ), Echobrain's (Jason Newstead) debut, Moonsorrow, The Black League and of course a lot of Opeth...among others...

Many new releases next week, a great day for prog with Dream Theater and Pain Of Salvation releasing incredible albums (both of which may eventually become their definitive statements) on the same day...
Yeah... and on 14th february they'll play in Milan together.. wow.. i've bought the ticket yesterday, ehm.. about 30$ :(

I have been blessed with an advance copy of the new Dream Theater album and I must say... I LOVE IT! I won't spoil it for anybody with any details but I will say that they have done it again! I love a band that can continuously reinvent themselves without losing fans in the process... DT (in my opinion) is one such band... This album, like every DT album before it is different than every album before it. Very intense and very mellow. Official US release date is 1/29/02... That's all I'm going to say...
