I am on my period today and was trying to figure out why we are so fucking stupid that, despite all the lessons and stories about slavery, racism, and persecution that have been handed down to us over countless generations, when given such a magnificent, pure, saviour-like tool as the Internet, the tool that our ancestors never had, the one thing that could finally, potentially connect the slaves together and keep the kings and queens in check, instead of leaping up with enthusiasm and proclaiming, "Finally! We now can work together to ensure freedom, health, and the pursuit happiness for all!" we decide to piss this one-time opportunity away, realizing that in fact we rather enjoy the inside of the box we are in, that we really would rather just watch TV and feel comfortable that everything is ok and you know what, I know that I am just trying to survive and I would never do anything to hurt anyone unless I had to, damn I hate miley cyrus but you know, now that she's changed maybe I like her more, fuck my iphone battery just died yay gay marriage is legal atheism yay too I am way smarter than everyone.

We deserve this shitstorm that is upon us. There is only a little gas left in our world's economical tank and then it will be an early version of Aasimov's Foundation. This used to upset me but now I realize that we in fact deserve it. I haven't done shit about it either, so it's my fault, too.

I recognize this sounds rather sophomoric, trivial, and face-palm inducing and I don't care. I just can't believe we are all sitting here while a new class of Kings and Queens is growing.

Don't bother replying "GGI you fool"

Remember, the last time we had such a clear class of Kings and Queens in the USA was prior to the civil war.

Don't bother replying "what a doosh" or "damn GGI needs to get laid"

Our science fiction books and films of old depicting a dire future have come to life. Not the cool science fiction books with the flying cars but the ones where we are run by computers and freedom is an illusion.

In fact, don't bother replying. Let this thread die in loneliness just as we are letting our freedom slowly die away.

Yes, don't bother replying. Here, I'll do it for you:
