Why is there no Tennessee dates!?!? I fuggin hate Tennessee! Now Ill have to try and make my raggedy ass car get to ATL!!!! And I live in the north part of TN so the drive is extra long. Its like all the dates form one big hole in the USA like some sort of force field is keeping metal out of TN.
Oh btw Ive been reading here for about a month and just finally decided to register. I got a few questions...
Are there any really good bands like opeth? Im hearing alot about Porcupine Tree, but are there any other I might not have heard of?
Does anyone know if Arch Enemy is any good?

Arch Enemy is/was good...Porcupine Tree is too,but neither are really too much like Opeth.
I'm sure we have some recommendation thread a couple pages back so just search a bit.

Porcupine Tree is just almost better than Opeth. I'm still trying to figure out who's better. But they don't sound a lot alike, except for maybe In Absentia, but that's a stretch.

Porcupine Tree and Opeth are practically completely polar opposite bands (unless you're talking about the acoustic parts and Damnation)

the only band that I can think of that is relatively similar to Opeth is Agalloch...and Agalloch just blow Opeth out of the water, imo

No fuckin shit! The heaviest thing Ive seen in Nashville in the last couple years was Yngwie Malmsteen and Lizzy Borden. You really should travel to Atlanta. We've made several trips now just to see decent metal. Hopefully we'll be making the trip in Feb to see Opeth again.
