I've seen all the Symphony X pages and there are a couple of keyboard tablatures, but...... what about the rest? There are a lot of guitar and drums tablatures.... why not keyboards? Please, I need the "Through the Looking Glass" one! :p

you know, you should use this oportunity to fine tune your ear, so that you don't need tabs any more. it is quite effective, I tried it with songs from Lemur Voice and Spiral Architect and have improved a lot!

Do you mean the keyboard parts transcribed for guitar, or actual keyboard "tabs"?

Keyboard tabs don't exist, dude. It's sheet music or nothing.

Hmm... The MIDI of Through the Looking Glass should be sufficient to get you started. Simone is usually not very accurate when transcribing keyboards (he has told me so himself), so you`ll have to do some editing and listening to get it right, but that`s a learning process and most likely very good for your musicality. If you`re having trouble or don`t know where to start, check out my guide to making progressive metal MIDI files at the following link:

Send me a private message with your e-mail, and ill give you all midi files of Twilight in Olympus. But as you might know, you need a program that converts midi files into a score, otherwise you wont see the real partiture.

Thats the way i have learned Pinellas stuff.

what program is that?? is it availiable for download??? i've been looking for it since ...forever

Luis:

The MIDI-files of Simone Mularoni are usually not correct in the keyboard department. I know Simone very well, and he`s admitted it himself. You`re usually better off with using the MIDI-files as a guide.

I have the Japanese guitar book which has the keyboard parts for "Through the Looking Glass". It has a few others as well. If you want me to scan them let me know and I will post some of the tabs for their songs.

You should try Guitar Pro 4 for it has support for notation.
And the MySongBook's songs are quite accurate too.
