Rolling Stone is a shit magazine that only really covers what is popular at the moment. As soon as the current trend dies, they will start shit-talking the same bands they once praised.

+ 1 for The Smiths, what a great band. I think that the indie rock scene is coming round to the idea of ripping off The Smiths. I've read a couple of interviews recently (can't remember who) where guys are saying how much they admire Marr's guitar playing.

NO one can play like Marr iirc

Though I remember the review being longer than that before. Anyway I remember when I bought Deliverance it had a sticker on it with quotes from favourable reviews and one was the RS review.
