why was dokken not one of the biggest selling bands of the 80's?

Ask her to marry you..... ha ha j/k. She certainly does have good taste though. I definitely love it when someone else digs Vanden Plas. In fact, I had to throw in "Silently" just for good measure. I am not sure that song and "January Sun" aren't my fave two songs of all time. If Vanden Plas continues to get better and better, my wife will have to file for disability for me on my behalf because I will just go into a permanent stupor listening to them. It has been two years since the release and I still listen to "Christ 0" quite a bit. They are simply magical.

October, 2008 - so far. Last I talked to anyone it's pretty close to being done. I believe they are doing bass & vocals currently. If the very early demos I heard @ PP last year are any indication, Land of the Freaks is going to slay!

why did rhino records wait so long after the new dokken album was released in europe to release it here in the states?
