Hi Folks... easy cuestion... i hope lot of anwers..

just pick one amp and one cab.

Please stay away of custums and boutike amps... just regular mass markets amp.

no money limitation.

WICH AMP?
WICH CAB?

Impossible to pick one amp or cab, especially without any style guidelines - however, while there are tons of great amps, as far as cabs are concerned I know I would be happy for the rest of my life with three: a Rectifier Standard (oversized) 4x12, Marshall 1960, and either a Marshall 425 or EVH 4x12 (for my Greenback fix)

I'm currently on honeymoon with a 5150 III, so this opinion is subject to change... but damn, this amp really works for me.

I'm really GASing for a ENGL right now but if it would be for my personal use it would be the following:

Mesa Mark IV Long head
Mesa Rectifier Standard 4x12 Standard (Oversized)

This is just purely based on my preference but to this day i still love the Mark IV and it still is the amp i judge other amps against for high gain tones. I own a Mark IV long combo and i love it, especially when plugged into some V30s! I would love to have a head version. I initially wanted a head but the only Mark IV i could find at the time was this combo.

If your asking for something you can purchase today then i would go with the same setup but with a Mark V instead.

Not that it's my 'dream amp' or anything like that cause I'm old enough and have been around the block so much as to see through the hype... but if I was comfortable enough to drop 5 grand on an amp I'd buy a Diezel. A herbert or a vh4. Or both.

But honestly if I had the money I'd own at least one of every amp ever made.

Uberschall or a Recto probably. I'd rather get an oversized cab or a better room to track guitars in though.

Actually saying that I'd love a Fireball 100..

MI Audio Megalith Beta + Krank Revolution 412

Already got the Megalith, just wish I could find the cab for sale somewhere. The only one I know of in my city is in the hands of a very happy owner.
