Will Angra tour the USA?

Nope. I do not think they are well known enough for a headlining tour in the states, which is really to bad. If they toured with Kamelot and another known band that would be great and could possible generate alot of interest.

Well, don't jump into conclusions that soon. I can't give you much information at this moment. All I can say is that it MAY happen, but it's still up on the air... I have a good source that informed me of it...

Let us hope they do tour at least over here in the east coast =)

Buddy, believe me... Angra would not open for Symphony X and Kamelot...

Sorry but both Symphony X and Kamelot are bigger in the USA than Angra from all the info I have gathered thus far. If they wouldn't support or open up , they wouldn't be on the tour. It has nothing to do with talent.

I was actually thinking about it Bear... and you know whaT? You're totally right... I would prefer to see Angra headlining over them, but I'd still see the show...

This should be in that email that goes around "Things that happen only in America" lol

Not sure about Kamelot, but you're right about SX - they are about 25 times as popular in the US - or more - than Angra.

I love them both though.

I think you will see Angra either tour or do some dates. I think a mini tour is more possible than just two or three side dates. I have heard stuff too that it may be in the works.

Though they kicked ass when I caught them in Aurora, I think there were 100 people in attendance, tops. It's a shame that nobody knows them in this country. However, they could do really well as an opening act on a bill with a band like Symphony X or Stratovarius. Seeing as how Stratovarius is planning on doing a U.S. tour in September, it would be great to see Angra jump onto the bill.
