Winter blues

Well, going down to -30 f tonight. not celcius. It's going to be a friggin cold few days.
Need to put that plastic in the downstairs windows tonight or we'll be freezing in the morning!!

How cold is it where you are???

I think it was around 70 deg here in Sacto yesterday. Gets a bit nippy at night though.

That -30 crap is for the birds...

Even the birds are flying away!!! I have downtown parking and when it's cold like that I'd rather take the city bus into work. Starting the van at that temp. is not good for me . Nevermind the van!!

Its about 28 now... it was 73 yesterday.

You people make me sick!!!LOL!!! -38 f. OK, when your smoke keeps going out every two minutes, it's cold. When you feel you've frozen your balls waiting for the bus, it's cold.

I actually miss real winter weather. I grew up here in Silicon Valley and all, but I lived in the midwest for the majority of the last decade (a good chunk of it in the lake effect snow areas of MI and OH, so I know all about cold and lots of snow), and I miss actual seasons. This 75F in January business is just not right..I even miss shoveling my walkway. *sigh*

Though with my knees blown out like they are, it's a good thing I don't have to shovel snow right now.

I was just out walking, it's a beautiful 70 degrees heading to 74 or so... I have no problem with that... I'm just sayin'...

Well, it's a chilli -27 without windchill. With wind = -38. Farenheit!!! Kinda cold. had to put layers on in order not to freeze, the bus has been late at least by 20 minutes everyday this week, things are just going great.

Should get a little warmer by next monday. Should you not hear from me, send out a search and rescue!!!! I'll be frozen in a snowbank somewhere in Gatineau!!!

Today was 30 F, which is warm compared to what its been lately. It snowed today, I hate snow.

well, -24 celcius this morning. Expecting another 8 inches to a foot of snow today. We have about four feet on the ground. It's beginning to look alot like christmas!!LOL!!

Got about 9 inches yesterday. Expecting another 2 feet by next tuesday. Anybody wanna buy some snow??????
