"Heart of a Killer" is an awesome album! Some of Tim's best work. I dont think i'd go as far as to compare them to the MIGHTY Sanctuary though. IMP they just dont have that hook that Sanctuary was able to create with their songs. But its a great album none the lest.

I was never a winters bane fan myself, I always thought they sounded like a 3rd rate queensryche but trying to be heavier. My EX has original copies of all of the winters bane stuff, I would laugh out loud when it was on.

Some people may not remember but there was a time when all the " prog " bands tried making thier own Operation Mindcrime, all failed.

Winters Bane does indeed kickass. Not just Ripper's great singing, but they have some incredibly speed metal riffs. Highly recommended to those who dunno.

Winter's Bane is okay band. I like the concept of Heart of a Killer.
