im with erik on this. ive always had the impression that women may be funny but dont act on the urge because it might be unseemly in some way. guys dont give a shit and will generally do anything. chicks are more concerned about appearances than dudes.
black people are not funny AT ALL and generally dont find other people to be funny either. say what you want about the black stand-ups - it's the same goddam recycled "stickin-it-to-the-man" jokes.

hmm, now that i think about it, most girls do not honestly crack me up. most of my dude friends can bring me to tears without much effort, but most women i've dated/befriended/whatever can't even get close to that level. a few have! but not the majority.

Hence most of my chick friends are the more tom-boyish ones. (not in looks). They can be just like normal chicks in 'public'. But when its just friends and shit, they'll belch, crack jokes and just about anything else that us guys decide is entertaining at the moment.

I find women that obsessed with appearance and people's perceptions of them to be annoying and almost uncomfortable to be around. I'd still hit that shit, but I certainly don't want to spent time with them.

Never said they were drunken party animal types. They just are more like guys in their attitudes about what a good time is, they like camping, and hiking and the outdoors. They don't take everything as having a hidden meaning (ie; "are you saying i'm fat" type of shit) and they're quite happy to be seen by their friends without makeup, they're hair done or while they are wearing sweatpants and a hoody.

yeah, many many guys have brought me to tears. but no woman has ever even come close. i think maybe it has something to do with them being more "charming" as in "haha, she made laugh. how cute." whereas with guys, i'm not concerned with their charms. at least i hope not.

A chick made me laugh like hell yesterday. I went to Taco Bueno with a friend and when we pulled up to the drive-through the girl at the cash register was certainly not attractive. Taco Bueno just opened in our town and we were wondering how late it stayed open so he asked "What are your hours?" and she thought he was hitting on her apparently and asked in all seriousness "My hours?" That cracked me the fuck up. I felt bad later though for laughing like that right there.
