Worcester, MA show

Yeh, the Novembers Doom show indeed, I will no doubtedly be there. In all liklihood I'll prolly be backstage most of the show, because basiclly every opening band that is playing I am friends with, so I may do some gear loading, and stage setup and all that fun stuff. We will have fun, I will buy you drinks, get you drunk, and convince you to fly to vegas and have elvis and marilyn monroe marry us. It'll be fun. Anyways, I saw a tranny on the subway today, all these dudes were staring at "her" ass, and she turned around revelaing an ungroomed mustache, and full on adamn apple. All i can think of was, "THATS A MAN BABY!" heheh

EDIT: Oh yeah, I goto goth clubs all the time, I RULE the dancefloor. Hehe, the Cruxshadows, and Sisters of Mercy rule...Ooops I cant reveal here that I am sooo Gaaawwwth...Ahh fuck it. :p

I was on the look out for you metalman. :) I actually heard a lot of "Dad's" being said so I had nothing to go on.

I was standing with my daughter and her friend right behind that middle "old bar" area behind the main floor. It was a great place to see the show - nobodys head in the way, and a clear sight to the stage (and close too) over the top of all the moshing and stuff. Had my brand spanking new Opeth hoodie on :)

I was about 10 feet from the stage for most of the show, up until about half way through Opeth. My wife is only 5 feet tall and I was having trouble keeping her able to see and unsquished once they came out and everyone went nuts. They sounded better further back, too. Tapping the Vein was annoying and even Paradise were boring, but I think whoever through the trash on the stage at them went a little too far.
Opeth ROCKED!! The energy in the crowd when they walked on the stage was so intense. fuck, i need to get out more.. Nile is in 3 weeks...

Nope, I started off with a Pantera shirt but then I put the tour shirt on. I saw that guy two though. He had a moustache right? I had long hair and a beard/goat thing going

Did anyone see that huge Black guy in the trench coat cream those little goofy kids in the pit? And what about that stupid drunk midget guy that is always running into people. He was at the Symphony X/Blind Guardian show too. I so wanted to punch him in the face.

Were you on the left hand side by any chance? I only ask because at some point, there was a man and woman in that area for about two minutes, and there was a girl in front of these two people who cut in and simply wasn't moving. So the woman said that she couldn't see and the couple went else where.

I was there with a backwards hat that said "Black Serenity", and a (nice) black coat. My friend and I were the first ones waiting in line... at 5 pm. Damn it was cold. We went back to the truck at one point to smoke some herb and warm up.

No we were more to the right side, especially once Opeth came out and the crowd went nuts and everybody shifted around.. gotta go with the flow when that happens.

Oh yeah...now I remember you...

And the midget guy's REALLY annoying...he got hauled out at Blind Guardian/Symphony X, though, if I'm not mistaken.

Was that the guy that everybody ws kicking and punching when he was down? He just walked around the center of the pit staring at everybody.

Also, did you catch the guy with the wings, goggles, and fishnet arm gloves?

I saw that guy -- i assumed he was from one of the openers or something -- was that just a common fan -- IN WINGS!!!??? silly.

Yeah the black guy at one point was on the ground getting kicked! One of my friends told me about the guy with wings but I never saw him. What about thta kind of chubby kid at the pit with a leather jacket who just kept walking around in a circle in the center of the pit with his arms folded? What a loser.

Yeah - that was pretty funny. And standing right behind that closed bar area behind the pit - got a great view of the action.

Yeah. Aren't New Englanders, especially those Massholes, just a classy bunch of folks? :p

 Hm. :bah: That same shit happened to me and my boyfriend at the New England Metalfest last year while Opeth was playing. I was BULLSHIT...but only for a moment. Then I realized, they were short enough to see over unobstructed and they even provided a barrier to prevent taller people from standing there and actually blocking my view. :) It turned out to be a good thing. HEH!

It always gets so hot downstairs at the Palladium by the end of the night. Well, I do at least. Maybe it's the Swedish studs on stage...I don't know. ;) I went to the bathroom to peel off a layer. WHAT A JOKE! Packed wall to wall, all squeezing for that one inch of available mirror. Mucho silliness!

It was a great show. :)
