I work as a cashier at Target. I get to hear people call the store "Tarjay" because it seems more refined to call it that. HELLO! It's an American company, its TAR-GET!! The only people allowed to pronounce it Tarjay are the French and there aren't many French on my island. It's a job =shrugs=
I earn 8$/hour, but I get health insurance and such so I'm happy I can now go to a doctor and stuff.
