Checking out Wormed for the first time. I heard they were among the most brutal, so I wanted to hear them.

Well, the music is pretty good...not sure if it's great. But the vocals just SUCK :puke: ! I can't stand these piggy vocals. I love good death and black vocals, but this type of vocals are just dumb.

We'll see if the music gives me enough motivation to overlook the vox.

I just bought the CD after listening to them for some time. I find the brutality to be done with some intelligence and to fit their imagery (Space). The harshness and danger of space is represented in the deadly brutality of the instruments and the inhuman harshness of the vocals.

It grows on you.

Yeah they are terrible...

Yeah, I generally dislike the style of brutal death metal. The gurgled vocals, the overusage of blastbeats, and thick muddish production etc. I think there's potential for me to enjoy this genre, but overall I just can't retain my interest - I just find a BDM album gets rather boring after a couple songs.

However, I do enjoy so-called 'brutal death metal' bands like Nile and Skinless but I don't think I would really say they are exactly brutal death metal, are they?

I like Brutal Death like Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Mortician, heard a good Skinless song today and liked it, Nile if they're considered it, some Devourment too, but I don't care for gurgles, super lows are fine but these gurgles/sink draining vocals I don't care for

Oh man, I love this band. This might seem weird, but listening to their music relaxes the hell out of me. It's soothing, yet brutal... I LIKE!
