You know what, I welcome these live releases. The band doesn't cover much territory when they tour, I havent seen them since 2003 (opening for Maiden doesnt count) and it's been since 2000 since they have played in New Orleans.

Also, the nice part with DT (at least it used to be, and I hope it will become so again) is that they REALLY do a good job of changing up the songs live, and performing them differently on almost a nightly basis. I'll buy live album after live album when they all sound as uniquely different as they do.

Been looking forward to this release for awhile, although I had no idea it was coming so soon! Will be great to see them performing with orchestration again.... Plus, the whole Awake segment???

those days are gone. that was Portnoy. Both Petrucci and LaBrie have said that was way too much work and only Mike's OCD kept that alive.
