Thats very cool cause I play bass too!
Specifically, I have a five string carvin made of Koa wood with a five piece neck and a two tech bridge! It was a $1700.00 bass that I purchased for $1100.00 since I purchased it direct from the factory
As for David "the man" Ellefson, I was blessed enough to meet him after a Megadeth show back on the Countdown to Extinction tour. I mentioned his bass playing and the guy was so cool that he was like "Oh, do you play bass?" and I told him yes and he started a conversation with me about playing bass and the whole time he was still signing autographs but talking to me pretty much exclusively! The guy is so down to earth, we even discussed equipment we use and amplifiers. All of Megadeth was pretty nice, but he was far and above the coolest! Great guy that Dave is

o/t, i saw the message on the megadeth site, i havent looked in so long because it was just a depressing thing to see about megadeth folding, but man deth is like one of my favs, im psyched about the comment mustaine made about us not seeing the last of him, dude if they got back and went back on tour, i would shit.
