Be AGGRESSIVE....B..E... AGGRESSIVE......B...E....A...GG....R.E.S.S.I.V.E......

Angel Dust is a GREAT album

"Everything's Ruined" is an awesome song

Hey nosferatu....I have an old Chateaux album, actually an EP that has the song "Chained and Desperate" on it. Great song that I had completely forgotten about. I bought this album right around the time I bought "Fistful of Metal", "Kill 'em All" and "Show no Mercy " and "Killing is my Business" back in the day. Could this be the same band you are referring to and I just lost track of them????

Yes, Angel Dust is one of my fav's but I also love their other albums with Patton... that guy must be one of the weirdest characters in music and I mean that as a compliment! :)

.,of some other albums that could have made my list..

11. Ministry - A mind is terrible thing to taste
12. FNM - King for a Day
13. Armored Saint - Symbol of Salvation
14. Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
15. Iron Maiden - Powerslave
16. Deep Purple - Machine Head
17. Anthrax - Volume 8
18. Iced Earth - Days of Purgatory
19. Mr. Bungle - Disco Volante (this one may bug some people.. :) )
20. Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia

Nosferatu....

Also "Witchfinder General"......Quite possibly the best album cover ever made.....all of those naked Nuns with their Boobs and asses hangin out being carted off by the police......when I bought that when I was like fifteen years old (16 years ago...ahem) I must have stared at it for 5 days straight.

Matter of fact.....I am going to go dig that out again......see you guys in about 5 days!!!

And Exciter!!!! Dan Beehler's voice........POUNDING METAL!!! Damn that brings back some good memories...."Violence and Force" is my fav from them.

Good list.

I like mentalmeltdown´s list quite a lot, sounds good ! So here is mine

Van Halen - 1984
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden
Metallica - Kill 'Em All
AC / DC - If you want Blood
Brainstorm - Metus Mortis
Accept - Balls to the Wall
Motörhead - 1916
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime
Thin Lizzy - Wild One
Stromwitch - Priest of Evil

Probably forgot a lot ...

Hehe... thanks Cold Gin!

I have to agree with you on Van Halen, Metallica and Queensrÿche..

There are too many good metal albums to make a list of top ten only!!!

I only hope that all people on this board have at least one Anthrax album in their top ten! I hope that when "We've come for you all" gets released, it will make my all-time top ten list!

:D

Wie geht-es Cold Gin? :)
Ich sprache ein wenig deutsch (?) Is that how you say I speak a little german??

There are a lot of european bands (other than the british ones) that are good and that don't get much exposure in the north America like Primal Fear, Angra, Sonata Arctica, Arch Enemy (death metal with a female vocalist) and a ton of black metal bands that come from Scandinavia... don't know what's the deal with all the black metal bands coming from there.. must be something in the water... :)
