That's right, bacon wrapped hotdogs!!!!!!!

We'll start with the ingredients. I thought long and hard about including some cheese, but eventually decided against it when I realized all I had was Swiss cheese anyways.

I also decided against including the red pepper because I want to use it in something else later. Here we are ready to cook.

In the mix we got yellow peppers, green peppers, crimini mushrooms, a pinch of ginger, and salt and pepper.

Let's cook the dogs in a separate pan.

I got caught up in making sure the dogs and bacon were cooking evenly and didn't take anymore pics until they were done. I opted against mustard also because I was afraid it would tarnish the taste, not improve it.

Not too bad! I'd say they were a solid 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10. Would make again someday. Maybe.

I'm going to make those hot dogs. mmm! I did see some kind of hot dog show on the food network once where they slit the hot dog and stuffed it with cheese before wrapping the whole thing with bacon, just as you did, but they deep fat fried the whole damn thing. It was called, a Texas hot dog. But, I like the idea of how you cooked it much better then the deep fat fried version. Topped with them peppers and mushrooms must give it extra yum.

lol, how did the bacon weave loaf thing taste in the video?
