Hi there,

i am a great fan of Wrathchild America (except Souls at zero). I am trying to set up a new home + info page with some dates and stuff and encountered some conflicts in releasing dates and others strange mysteries. Because theres no real Wrathchild America forum anymore :(

1)
concerning recording dates and releasing dates of CD album "3D":

I found this note on one´s homepage:
Recorded at Pyramid Sound, Ithaca, NY - Jul 22 thru Sep 8, 1990.
Additional recordings at Electric Lady Studios, New York, NY.
Mixed at The Hit Factory, New York, NY - Oct 2 thru Oct 18, 1990.
..hand this guy also speaks of the releasing date in 1990!
(...must have been close to december then.....)

but thats in conflict with the CD- release date of 02/12/1991 found here
http://www.mysimon.com/3_D/4004-4182_8-660148256.html?tag=txt&q=

or another CD releasing date was:
12. Februar 1991

also strange...
also here in the interview, the band talks about the 3D album in april 1991!
http://www.theroc.org/roc-mag/textarch/roc-06/roc06-6b.htm
Is that recording date correct and they have had released it officially late in october 1991 or is 1990 correct?! How could that all be?!

2) was Wrathchild America "3D" and "climbin the walls" still sold in the states under "Wrathchild" and only in europe they´ve been named their band "Wrathchild America" or do they have taken the name completely also in the states?

3) do they release the two 3D album
(the one is with Bonus track "i ain´t drunk....") version at same time or does
the bonus track album was released later on (month/Dates or both)?

4) have they played any other bootlegs/covers than "time" from Pink Floyd or any other not released songs? Do videos exist?

many greetings
Tim

Hi Erik,

I'm pretty sure they changed their name entirely to Wrathchild America, even in the US...

thanx for showing interest and meeting you. So you are absolutly right, they changed their name completely! I figured out now the release date 12.02.1991 must have been the correct one. So also the recording date Oct 1990 has been correct...so they have given the interview in april ´91 and surly did know the tracks at that time. Thats pretty "desert grins" cool!

the question still is:
Was there a 3D album release without the bonus track or not...
this webpage i talked about says yes!
http://www.sonoftime.com/SoulsAtZero/albums.html
i am going to ask this guy...

Does anyone has got "climbin the walls" or "surrounded by idiots" or "spy"
music tv-video (MTV or another)?

:headbang: :headbang:

greetings
Tim
