Writing Game - The Dark Powers of Evermorrow

Anyone up for a writing game?

Here is the idea:

"The Crimson Unicorn" is an epic power metal band from Sweden. For their next album, labeled, "The Dark Powers of Evermorrow", they need to write new lyrics for their opening song.

They already have the tune, but they don't have any lyrics! Unfortunately, their grasp on English isn't great, and their translator isn't around to help them take their idea and put it to paper. The Crimson Unicorn needs your help!

Each poster takes 4 lines from the song, and we will go until the song is finished. Listed below is the order of the song. Remember, this is an epic song.. so there are a lot of verses. You must follow the rhyme scheme, but, you can be creative about your rhymes.

Here is an example of the rhyme scheme:

The dragon flew through Evermorrow,
his wings a trail of fire;
The black smoke choked the villagers,
and silenced the town crier.

Once this is over, The Crimson Unicorn will have the most epic song in history!

The stench of brimstone and ash permeated the cavern, decorated with the charred bodies of would-be heroes unceremoniously cast along the walls to serve a grim reminder to intruders that their death is close and unavoidable. The hoary colossus cast his baleful gaze upon us, and with a voice like thunder and doom... he spoke:
