instruments, then lyrics...although, I've never tried it the other way around so I couldn't tell

It's think it's easier to set the right mood with the instruments than to write lyrics to fit to an instrumental part
Lyrics come from the inside, it comes rather spontanious

I'm kinda dyslexic when it comes to vocals and singing and it's almost impossible for me to put vocal lines on a guitar riff or something.
so writing lyrics and writing music afterwards is the only thing i can. but I don't like it either so I do not write lyrics at all...

i think it depends on how you approach the lyrics. if you want to make sure that you can fit all of the lyrical passages you want to in a song, i'd probably write the lyrics then write the music around the lyrics written. this way, you aren't constricted to the composition of the music. however, i think that if you write the lyrics first, the music is restrained a bit.
