WTF? Snow?

Outside my office, the sun is out, but it's snowing at the same time... THE APOCALYPSE IS COMING!!!

That happened in Indiana this past winter. Strange stuff. It's weird for me to think that you're at work right now, cause it's 5:40 in the morning for me, and I have to get up in two hours to get ready for work. Been havin' some insomnia lately. o_O

Just lately, the weather patterns round this end have been like this:

The whole time I'm in the office - blazing sunshine and dry, oppressive heat. This is exacerbated by the fact that all of the women in the office seem to have ice water running through their veins, judging by their constant litany of complaints about being cold and flat refusal to allow the air conditioning to be switched on.

The second I'm out of the office and embarking on my fifteen-minute walk home - flash flood.

over here in Kanada it's been fucking sunny and just warm enough without getting too hot lately! PERFECT weather, and I'm stuck in here studying for exams!

ya, perfect weather here in The Woodlands. Sunny, warm, few clouds, green grass and green trees. I love it.

Weather been more bizarre than ever the past 3 or 4 months. I think the world is trying to explode.

The earth is rotting, the earth is rotting
Rot old old earth
The earth is growing, it keeps on growing
Rot old old earth

where are these Woodlands?

Texas. North of Houston.

Awesome community, I must say. Instead of being like most neighborhoods in the US that just strip the land completely of all trees, and then start from stratch like a cookie cutter community, The Woodlands built the houses around the trees. That's not to say they didn't have to cut some trees down, but they didn't strip the land.

It is a rule for 40% of each yard to be covered by trees (large or small), and I/we cannot cut down a tree without a permit unless it is posing a danger to a house or people (i.e. a dead tree).

Plus, a lot of money lives here. A lot of the rich folks who work in Houston move up here to raise a family because of low crime (mostly petty theft) and good schools.

I love it.

Sounds like an atypical and interesting area to live! Being Canadian, all I hear about Texas is the stereotyped view of fat, greasy rednecks!
