WTT: Duncan JB for Duncan JB Trembucker

Longshot, but why not - just pulled the trigger on this baritone beauty, but I'd rather try the JB in my Jackson, which would require a Trembucker; any takers? (I'll be taking it right out of the guitar, which is brand new)

It's just a cosmetic issue and won't affect the sound at all. Just try the non-trem JB.

I'm pretty sure it's more than cosmetic, the pole-pieces have a slightly greater spacing to accommodate the wider saddles of an FR-style bridge

Magnetic fields aren't lasers, they are broad, elliptical fields. Mind you they aren't QUITE as strong off-axis but this is a high-output pickup, and there's another pole piece RIGHT there next to it...

It's primarily a cosmetic issue, but I can see where you'd be looking for something MADE for that guitar.

Listen to them Marcus. Just try it. There won't really be a noticeable difference in the sound.

Cool, thanks guys, will do! And I probably won't like it anyway haha, I never have in the multiple guitars I've played that had it in 'em - however, I've heard enough really good tones with it that I wanna give it one more shot!
