Just curious as to the Christmas music that's polluting everyone's ears and rocking your savage metal soul in this time of giving and peace...hehe...

In this metalhead's collection, here's some of the gems I have:

TSO (obviously a must for any metal fan...)

Twisted Sister (don't laugh, it's pretty cool, and a lot of fun)

Jorden Rudess (self-released The Christmas Sky album from his website...beautiful acoustic piano renditions of Christmas music

Gary Hoey (3 albums called Ho!Ho!Hoey! with fun, guitar driven, rockin'-good holiday vibe

Stride (Bah Humbug album is a classy, fun release from one of our very fave classy prog bands)

Non-metal selections include:

B.B. King -- this is a house of blues, as well...

Vince Guaraldi -- Gotta have a Charlie Brown Christmas...all the cool jazzy piano pieces from the TV show...

What else is out there that everyone's grooving to...?

Merry Christmas to all the faithful!

Rock on!

I have no christmas albums!

Though I would like to get Blackmore's Knight, Loreena McKennit's "A Winter Garden: Five Songs For The Season" and "To Drive The Cold Winter Away"

I do like some of the Mannheim Steamroller stuff. And I've listened to the TSO stuff, and enjoy it mostly.

I just tend to get very annoyed hearing so much of the christian stuff.

Merry Axemas Volumes 1 and 2: Satriani, Vai, Sykes, Di Meola, Sheppard, Johnson, Nugent, on and on. Good stuff.
Monster Ballads Xmas: All the great (???) hair bands with a great original song from Danger Danger!

[An incredible example of how far pop star talent has fallen (Yeah even you too, Bono). Gold star for anyone who can watch all the way to the end of this video.]

Gary Hoey - Ho! Ho! Hoey!
All TSO
Stride - Bah Humbug
Kenny G - Miracles: The Holiday Album
Amy Grant - Home For Christmas
Peter, Paul & Mary - A Holiday Celebration
Two HORRIBLE Disney Christmas albums
Billboard Greatest Christmas Hits - 1955 to Present
Billboard Greatest Christmas Hits - 1935 to 1954
Billboard Presents Family Christmas Classics
A Very Special Christmas 2
Two other compilations of Christmas classics

I've also got the following mp3s:
Theocracy's Christmas medley
Bob River's "I am Santa Claus"
And the two Jag Panzer christmas songs

Not counting the wife's country crap

All the TSO albums (all classics)
Donal Hinely - Midwinter Carols on Glass Harmonica (great folk singer who also plays the glasses. www.donalhinely.com)
Rik Emmett and Sam Reid - The Spirit Of Christmas (unfortunately very boring and bland)
Lawrence Juber - Winter Guitar (acoustic guitar player best known for his partnership with Al Stewart on some later albums)
The Jethro Tull Christmas Album (a mixed bag of good and boring songs)
Stride - Bah Humbug (a local Houston classic. Too bad the guys can't get their shit together anymore)
Vince Guaraldi Trio - A Charlies Brown Christmas (timeless jazz)
Merry Axemas Vol 1 and 2 (for the most part, good versions of classics)
Gary Hoey - All three Ho Ho Hoey albums plus the Complete Collection album with remixes and bonus tracks (good to great songs with a few stinkers. Likewise the remixes are sometimes an improvement but other songs suffer from an over-bright mix)
Steve Lukather & Friends - Santa Mental (great jazzy compositions and excellent fidelity)
Christmas with The Pops (stuff I grew up with and still kind of like)
Eagles - Please Come Home For Christmas single
Rainbow - The Snowman (great instrumental version by Ritchie on the Bend Out Of Shape album)
Queen - Thank God It's Christmas (not Queen's best. In fact, one of their worst).
