Back in the day, Napster and AudioGalaxy ruled for finding some of this obscure stuff. :)

I guess I'll just have to broadcast Xmas shows on SeismicRadio this coming weekend, now. :kickass:
I'm glad for this thread, since it's triggered me into formulating playlists. :headbang:

Oh shit, I forgot, I have that too! It's great. And more importantly, FM-radio friendly. :)

Yeah, the best part about that mp3 is the guy dying of laughter in the background.

Supposedly, that was recorded in the Atlanta area, too. Somewhere around us, there might be some guy who will forever remember being "that guy who laughed at Porky Pig." :)

The original:

[An incredible example of how far pop star talent has fallen (Yeah even you too, Bono). Gold star for anyone who can watch all the way to the end of this video.]

Aside from the fact that I didn't know who most of them were, it wasn't that bad. I did find it odd the the rapper was the only one holding a lyric sheet.

As for my collection, the only thing I have that hasn't been mentioned is a charity Xmas CD done by KLBJ here in Austin featuring all Austin musicians. Most are only known locally, but Ian Moore, Dexter Freebish, and Reckless Kelly have had moderate national success since recording that album about 9 years ago.

My Mom sent me some Christmas CD she bought from QVC. It is a sax player and he is pretty good. Can't recall the artist (not Kenny G) and am too lazy to go fetch it. Pretty good though for background music.
I have the first TSO.... CD. I dig about ghalf of it.
I bought the "Through The Many Winters" CD by Michael McDonald last year and I really dig it. He really puts his style into it so...... if you dig his odd vocal style this CD is for you. If not, I wouldn't touch it.

Featuring such timeless classics as "Deck the Halls With Parts of Charlie", "We Wish You'd Bury the Missus", "'Twas the Fright Before Christmas" and "Should Old Cadavers Be Forgot."

Ahhh, gotta love the Halloween-season crossovers.

It was recorded by Denny Brownlee about 20 years ago. For legal reasons, the performer was renamed "Seymore Swine", which is the way it comes up on XM nowadays.
