Alright, after the credits stopped rolling, you find out Charles is still alive. Well...you hear his voice actually. You see, if you remember, he was showing the students a video of a man without a consciousness, and he began talking to them about when it would be right for the psychics to use an opportunity like this. Well, guess what he did before Phoenix disintegrated his body. Quick transfer, and AH, that man has a consciousness now. However, I must have my Patrick Stewart in my movies whole, so in the next X-Men, he better get plastic surgery or something.

I thought the point of this one was to be the last of the series? Are they really planning another one?


edit: well I just googled it and it seems they changed their minds rather quickly on that matter, so yes, more.

Judging from the ending, it seems like they were lying. I won't really say anything else about the movie, and maybe they just wanted the movie to have a happy ending, but the ending REALLY sucked if that's what they are going to use to just completely end the series. If they made another, I could forgive such an ending, but if not, it's a horrid one. No sense of closure at ALL.

It turns out that when the director said "It's the last one", he later changed his mind and cleverly said "well, I mean, uh, it's the last of THIS STORYLINE" and there is seemingly a wolverine movie in the works, in addition to whatever else they can conjur up to make big bucks from the xmen canon

Hehe, yeah, I've heard about the Wolverine movie, but that still doesn't make me forgive them for the ending. If it's the end of this storyline, they did a piss poor job of it.

I haven't seen the movie, but I think I should point out that I like the Ultimate Marvel Universe version of Cyclops. He actually displays leadership qualities and, you know, blows shit up.
