ordered it like 4 weeks ago...finally came today (the paralysis t-shirt), with a bunch of free stickers (w00t)....also, on extol's site, they credit Opeth as being the nicest people in the world. I wonder what opeth think of extol?

Here are me and my mate in our Extol T-shirts (we got em at the same time, at the same place, the same tshirts.)

And yes, I do look like a retard.

I've got that shirt...I love the Synergy album cover. That may be my favorite album cover of the year. Damnation is close behind though.

I know Extol's former producer, (when they were on Solid State Records in Seattle) and he showed me the album cover before Extol ever released it. For some reason he hated it though. I think its a fuckin bad ass cover!

oh BTW, here's my Extol shirt that i got from one of their shows :)

Who's the total dillhole who said Synergy is hardcore?

Bwahahaha!
ah haha, maybe thrash, but there isnt one bit of hardcore in them. never has, and i dont think there ever will be..

Well, in his defense the vocals do sound a bit hardcore at times, and the band even stated that they were 90 percent influenced by thrash metal/other forms of metal and 10 percent influenced by hardcore bands such as the refused. But synergy is a great album regardless.

who cares who they were "influenced by," that doesn't mean they're going to sound like the influence. being the vocalist of my band i'm largely influenced by mikael akerfeldt, but my vocals don't sound really anything like his at all.
