McCain was forced to defend his people when their stupidity got out of hand. He showed no class in his campaign, and that was partly why he lost. The other reason was that the American people finally realized that the only "socialism" that will go on is "redistributing the wealth" down, instead of up.

The thing is, there are idiots on both sides of the fence. One example: Someone hung an effigy of Palin from a noose. Someone else had an Obama effigy with a knife through its throat. McCain asked the person to take it down, Obama did not.

Oh I'm not even arguing that. The stupidity seemed to be more abundant at McCain's events, though.

But after so many "concessions" it becomes questionable.

No, it absolutely does not especially since he hasn't even done it more than 5 times on 5 separate issues iirc. It makes the person doing it seem more likeable and agreeable, generally a good quality to have when you want people to like you and vote for you...McCain failed at this because he constantly snapped at Obama during later debates and cut him off. He was rude as fuck, goddamn crotchety old man. I respected him as a senator; he had a good voting record for the most part and was pretty non-partisan...but his HUGELY stupid, bigoted, hateful campaign put him extremely far behind Obama's as they constantly used simplicity and effective speaking to brush off McCain's absolutely stupid remarks and assessments. And it doesn't help that he literally thinks women are stupid by picking the dumbest woman in power in the United States and waved her around like a doll to desperately pick up "women voters" as she turned out to be nothing but a pretty bimbo with absolutely retarded, baseline-prehistoric opinions on nearly everything...also it doesn't help that he sold out to the right wingers and sucked them off in a last-ditch to gain the presidency. I'm not seeing the honor.

Right, and McCain didn't have at least as many concessions.

Really, could you find anything more dull to argue over than who did better in the debates?

Hence why I moved to peeing in anuses.

@V5: I do see your point. McCain is a bit grouchy and rude. But he's old, cut him some slack. Two words: Come on... Come on! But seriously, I know that the politeness wins people over for being a nice person and whatnot. But I'm not sure I want a pushover for president either. I like some grit. And while I totally agree with you about McCain obviously not thinking highly of women, he did a good job by just choosing A woman. Women like women. Although he could have chose a less terrifying one...

Women actually don't like women who are against women's rights and don't even show basic appreciation for women at all.

He's been saying it for a long time, and it is false. Russ Feingold and ACTUAL SOCIALIST Bernie Sanders are both more liberal.

ack: you're not doing your research bro.

edit: actually the above is probably wrong but here's a list

Well, but:

Lifetime is going to show different results, and Obama hasn't even been in there very long.

You're a silly sausage if you think sovereignty over one's own body isn't an extremely important, prominent right for women.

Nice outcome. Congrats to America (and the world) that Sarah Palin can now go and crawl back under the rock from whence she came.
