*Yawn* Cryptopsy Breaks Up

None So Vile hurts my ears when I listen through my new stereo system. In fact, all metal sounds like shit on my system.
 
I just listened to the other track that leaked... and I can't stop laughing. Beoman the Martyr or whatever its called...

There is no way in fuck this band can be serious about this being the material they're releasing. This is just too pathetic. It makes me want to pop St. Anger in.
 
There was another funny pissed off Flo post on some forum recently... read it somewhere or other, about how we should all be in awe of the new tracks, we're close-minded, we expect them to repeat themselves etc etc. Such bullshit. Change all you want, just don't expect us to be docile when your brilliant new arti$tic vision happens to coincide with the flavour of the month.


Furthermore, if Jerry had made up the break-up story, you can bet the wordiness index of Flo's bemoanin' up in the first post would have been substantially higher.
 
It's just some bullshit that someone on the Nile forum made up. However, I wish they would break up, considering the three new tracks I've heard from their latest album are abominations of the worst and most unholy kind. They're obviously trying to cash in on the whole deathcore/scenekid/gaycore movement, but essentially failing, because their new direction is even more horrible and simplistic than those of other modern moshdeath bands. The new songs sound like a mixture of Slipknot, Despised Icon and pure horseshit.

Extremely sad, considering the amount of potential and talent the band have (save for the new vocalist and probably the new female keyboardist (!)). Once innovators, releasing two AMAZING (Blasphemy Made Flesh and None So Vile) and two GREAT (Whisper Supremacy and And Then You'll Beg) albums, now ripping off bands that represent what's wrong with modern day's death metal scene. It would be best if they would just split up.

Are you sure that these "new" Cryptopsy tracks aren't just tracks from their new singer's old band? I heard these a few weeks back and thought that this was probably the case. Everyone just jumped on the hate bandwagon since they are a band that is incredibly easy to hate these days.

Edit: The myspace tracks are not the same tracks that were circulating a few weeks ago. They really don't sound much different from the middle albums where they went through crappy metalcore-esque singers like Flo goes through snare drum heads.

The promo leaked the other day and it has been confirmed real. And it is AWFUL. As in, not even good on Deathcore terms awful.
